Dr. Callaham
The “son or sons of” looks like a Hebrew word. Isn’t the Aramaic for “son” the word”bar”?
I’ve always been intrigued by the phrase “bar mitzvah” considering it to be an Aramaic phrase rather than a Hebrew phrase.
Thanks again for your work with the Daily Dose. I enjoy it so very much.
(I’m still hoping for a Daily Dose of Syriac!)
